Baku is also known as Baki or Baky, which is the capital of Azerbaijan and the largest city in the Caucasus. Baku is on the coast of the Caspian Sea on the southern tip of the Absheron Peninsula. There you can find three divisions in the Baku: the newest part of the city, the Soviet built city and the ancient city. The climate of the place Baku is so natural and pleasant.
There are several cultural sites in the place of Baku with its various divisions. In the old town (Icheri Seher) you can find number of interesting sites like The Palace of the Shirvan Shahs, Maiden’s Tower (Giz Qalasi), etc. Outside the city in the Absheron Peninsula you can find Atashgah Fire Temple, Yanar Dagh etc. Bedside this if you thinking about the museums and the galleries you can also see The Azeri National Costume Museum (Doll Museum), Taghiyev History Museum, Latif Karimov Carpet and Applied Arts Museum, Home of Jafar Jabbarli etc. There are also other sites to visits in the Baku like The Baku Boluvar, Targova Street and Fountain Square which is near the old city, Dendro Park, Oil Rocks, Magomayev Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall and many more.
